MNDC is very committed to providing services across the age span for individuals and families suffering from a Pervasive Developmental Disorder, such as Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, or Pervasive Developmental Disorder-NOS

We offer both diagnostic and treatment services. We also include services for the family. The various services are listed below. Click on any link to learn more about that service.

Assessment – Our assessment process involves a multidisciplinary team who evaluate communication, social-emotional functioning and functional and adaptive behavior. Parent and caregiver input, observations, are used to profile a child’s functional abilities and challenges.

Intensive Behavior Therapy –We develop and implement intensive behavior programs using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and discrete trial therapy.  Services are provided by in-home behavior therapists with oversight and supervision by doctoral-level behavior consultants. Areas addressed include school readiness, language acquisition, academic training, social and self-help skills, behavior management, and skill generalization.

Parent coaching – Using the Developmental Individual Difference Relational (DIR) framework, our services incorporate parent-child interaction coaching, using the “Floor Time” model.

Speech and Language Therapy – Receptive, expressive and pragmatic language therapies using augmentative and alternative communication systems (PECS, ASL, Voice-Output devices), computer-based language enrichment, and developmental approaches in individual and group settings.

Social Skills Training – Individual and Structured groups focused on developing functional and adaptive social skills.
